This is your city, and these are your decisions. Through Civic Stage and Youth Democracy Works, you'll join a cohort of young Pittsburghers learning to shape what local government actually does — not someday, but now. No experience required. Just bring your ideas and energy.

We embed civic participation directly into the institutions students already trust. We partner with schools, libraries, and youth programs to bring hands-on civic infrastructure to the spaces you already run — building from within your structure, not bolting on from outside.
For Funders & Foundations
We're building civic infrastructure designed to last — permanent systems that connect a new generation to democratic governance across Pittsburgh. If your work touches civic participation, education, or youth development, we'd welcome a conversation about what we're building and where it's headed.
